Like Google Drive, Gmail uses two-key “go to” commands to move between different areas of the page.
Task | Keyboard Command |
---|---|
Go to Inbox | G then I |
Go to Starred conversations | G then S |
Go to Sent messages | G then T |
Go to Drafts | G then D |
Go to search filters | G then F |
Once you reach a given area, you can move through the list of emails in that section. Use the up and down arrows to navigate through the list of emails. To open an email, press Enter. If you want to select multiple emails, press X on each email you’d like to select. Once you have emails selected, you can perform actions for all of the selected emails.
